Rainbow Brights

‘Tis the season to carry a clutch! With all the Christmas parties and social events coming up, a clutch is every party girl’s best friend. Not only are they big enough to carry around those essentials – lip gloss, cash, house keys – but they can also really add a bit of festive sparkle to your outfit.

We particularly love the array of bright clutches that have hit the high street.  With everyone watching the pennies this year, a bright clutch is a great way of accessorizing last year’s Little Black Dress – plus they also look great with denim for those less formal Christmas get-togethers.

We’ve selected some of our favourites available on the high street – and at these prices, why not splash out on a couple and rotate through the Christmas party season?

Steal Beyoncé’s Style

Beyoncé has long been one of our favourite pop stars – she’s got an incredible voice, is a fabulous dancer and isn’t afraid to flaunt her womanly curves. Now, she’s gone one step up the A-list ladder by embracing our high street!

While in town last month for her amazing gigs, she was spotted sported none other than a New Look top, which costs the very non-celebrity price of £20!

The batwing top has a great ’80s vibe to it and would look great over skinny jeans or shiny leggings. Beyoncé being the confident star she is, however, decided to wear the top as a dress, teaming it with a New Look sequin jacket, bare legs (so brave in November!) and a trilby. As ever, she looked totally bootylicious!

The Little Black Party Dress

The Little Black Dress or LBD is the epitome of timeless elegance. Seen on everyone from Audrey Hepburn to Rihanna, the LBD is the satorial equivalent to  George Clooney – classic, good looking and ever so versatile!

With the festive season in full swing, the LBD is also the answer to your Christmas party dilemmas. Not only will you look fabulous at every festive gathering, but because it’s so adaptable, you’ll only need to splash the cash once. Clever accessories, uber glam shoes and great jewellery will mean you can rock a different look each night with the same frock.

Thankfully, one shop has made the hunt for the ultimate LBD very easy, by stocking several fabulous designs all under one roof. Warehouse has such an amazing array of various little black dresses that we spent ages trying on various styles to find our perfect frock.

We’ve chosen three of our favourite styles, but to really see what they have on offer, pay them a visit to find your perfect party dress. There really is something for everyone – all shapes, sizes, ages and tastes – so we recommend putting Warehouse on your must visit list.
