Tiffany & Co. True Love Photo Booth

Briony Whitehouse, the blogger behind A Girl, A Style and our official guest blogger for The Village recently visited the Tiffany & Co. True Love Booth.

Tiffany & Co., the mothership for lovers the world over, is this month asking the question ‘what makes true love?’ with their current campaign, ‘True Love In Pictures’. What makes this campaign so very sweet if the fact that it celebrates genuine love. It features at its heart a gallery of real-life couples from all over the world, in everyday situations, showing their love in ways unique and personal to them.

My favourite part of this campaign is that romantics the world over can submit their own photo to the gallery and be a part of this international declaration of love. In addition to being able to upload their own photos via an iPhone app and Instagram, there are three pop-up photo booths being stationed around the world (New York, Tokyo and London).

The booth itself is charming (all blue silk and gold picture frames; exactly as you’d imagine from Tiffany), and within you can take a photo to upload to the campaign and then print to take home with you.

The booth will be in Tiffany & Co. at The Village from 17th – 29th February. Do pop in and capture your own moment of love.

True Love in Pictures

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

We’re a sucker for love, we’ll admit it. So when one of New York’s power fashion couples Scott Shuman & Garance Dore got together to create the ‘True love in pictures’, for Tiffany & Co’s ‘What makes love true’ campaign, it had us a little weak at the knees. Capturing those magical moments, Schuman and Dore created the enchanting campaign completely on the iPhone’s Instagram app, the pair inspired couples around the globe and encouraged them to share their special moments with their loved ones in the ‘Moments of True love’ gallery at Tiffanys.com. Just in time for Valentine’s Day the ‘What makes love true’ campaign has cheered our January blues, warmed our hearts and had us swooning.  Check out the behind the scenes campaign footage:

Introducing Zara, our new guest beauty blogger!

Last year Westfield London ran a competition to find a guest blogger for 2012.  We had plenty of excellent entries but the winner by a long shot was the lovely Zara of Mouldyfruit.com.  Zara will be sharing her beauty finds and tips and tricks for you.  So here she is.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Let me introduce myself.. I’m a London based beauty, style and jewellery junkie who enjoys sharing my favourite finds through my love of blogging. I won this amazing opportunity to work with Westfield London and will be writing a selection of articles each month, from my best beauty buys to my latest fashion finds. I’m forever on the hunt for that mascara that works wonders, that lipstick that makes the crowd stop and that designer inspired piece for a fraction of the price. I have some really exciting articles to come so hope that you will follow me through through this adventure.

Just thought I’d give a quick mention to some of my favourite beauty stores in Westfield London..

I call them my.. Must see! Must stop!

Colourcopia – I am obsessed with nail polishes and OPI are probably my favourite brand. This store is nail heaven, from nail treatments to manicures they have it all – Not to mention a colour co-ordinated selection of OPI nail polishes.

Inglot - Is a store that has me from the moment I walk in, the colours, the layout, the make up! The make up selection is not only diverse but the products are such great quality. This is currently the only store in England and it really can’t be missed!

Beauty Base – A mini beauty emporium that stocks everything  from skin care to fragrance with something for everyone . I always like to make a stop at beauty base and I often find their prices are slightly cheaper than other beauty retailers. Westfield London is in fact the flagship store of Beauty Base so be sure to check it out.

MAC – No trip to Westfield is complete without a visit to MAC. Whether it’s to pick up some staples or to lust over the current collections MAC is always on my list.

What are your Must Sees? Must stops? If you have any requests for beauty reviews please leave a comment below. You can also visit me on my own blog www.mouldyfruit.com

Style crush… Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

From her effortless airport style, to her red carpet leg baring gowns, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley gets it right every time. The Devon native may have migrated to the sunny beaches of California, but it seems she has taken her laid back signature British style with her where ever she goes. 2011 was a big year for Miss Huntington-Whiteley, earning her Victoria Secrets angel wings and starring in the box office smash Transformers: Dark of the Moon,  plus being the face and body of Burberry and M&S, it seems the whole world has fallen for the Brit beauty as much as we have.

For effortless Rosie chic add a breton top and scarf to skinny jeans or leathers.  Ankle boots and an it bag finish the look off perfectly.
