Mulberry always makes us smile and with raincoats in dolly sherbert shades, giant ice-cream cones, animal balloons, and little dogs dressed up for the weather, the Mulberry show on day three of London Fashion Week had us smiling from ear to ear.
Watching the 1970s English summer inspired catwalk show were Kate Moss and Kristen Stewart. Models with big blond hair swooshed along in candy pastels and neutral shades of macs, wind breakers, hoodies, shorts and thermal leggings.
Unlike the neon brights of this summer the colour was more girly with sunny lemon sherbet, candy pink and lollipop stripes. For the evening the collection featured gold and navy blue party dresses, oversized gemstones and flattering sheer pleated maxi dresses also injected femininity and glamor.
Of course no talk of a Mulberry show is complete without mentionning the bags and for next season the classics were updated with neon-yellow patent leather and animal prints.
