Meet Mikaela and Johan.  They’ve been together one year, live together in Paris.  They met on a dancefloor, kissed and are now engaged.  They are one of the uber-chic ‘Kooples’ who have been adorning our modes of transport and magazines recently and getting us very excited about the brand coming to Westfield London this month.

There’s something ridiculously cool about The Kooples – the word itself is French slang for couples – a brand inspired by the codes of rock and influenced by the Parisian androgynous chic.

Serial trendsetters Chloe Sevigny, Leighton Meister and Alexa Chung have all been seen recently in female dandy chic while Olivia Palermo and her boyfriend Johannes Huebl are like a Kooples advert in reality.
