Marni’s signature style is full of clashing prints, colour blocking and some edgy, sporty style with plenty of tribal influence in 2012.  Here founder Consuela Castigliano gives us a little peek into the collection as she talks about the collaboration:

So, with just two more days to go we’ve been meticulously planning our purchases.   Do we go for brash, bright classic Versace or more understated garments with staying power? The black silk dress with Versace logo buttons worn by Helena Christensen is one of our faves.

Of course once the decisions are made, the question is, how do we make sure we get our hands on the ones we want. Experience proves that these collaborations sell out within moments and no doubt 17 November will be a frenzy at stores.  For the H&M stores at Westfield centres there will be a queuing system in place whereby the first 280 people in the queue can shop from the women’s designer collection only.  Then, after the first two hours, the designer area will open to all customers.  So, if you want your pick of the bunch, make sure you’re one of the first in the queue.

Which pieces are you on your wish list?

The exclusive collaboration is based on the iconic UGG Australia sheepskin boot construction with design details that embody the spirit of the Jimmy Choo brand.
Encompassing five styles in multiple colour variations, the collection features the classic UGG boot with decorative Jimmy Choo studding, stars and hobo fringing detail.

The collection spans from vintage inspiration to modern minimalism. Each piece is made of sterling silver and is hand-set with sprinklings of white, brown or black diamonds.

Our favourites are the stackable sterling silver diamond rings (shown above)  – bang on trend for this season. Also look out for the vintage-looking pendants and drop earrings.

Warehouse teamed up with the British Fashion Council’s Colleges Council to run a Design Talent competition and the winner was Daisy Craver of University of Westminster. Daisy won a six month placement with Warehouse to develop her collection with them. Now, Daisy’s collection will be available to buy in Warehouse – how amazing is that?

If you want to release you’re inner rock chick, this is the collection for you! Check out the studded black trousers and leather T-shirt dress for starters. Pieces range from £40-£300.

They’ll be celebrating the launch of the Daisy Craver collection and London Fashion Week in our Warehouse store from 5pm on Thursday 16th September. Head along and check out the collection for yourself.

Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin says: “H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.”

Peter Pilotto won an emerging talent award last year, so working with Kipling is an amazing platform to showcase their work. The bags and wallets feature really strong, bold prints in vibrant colours. There’s a definite cosmic vibe about the prints, and the signature Kipling monkey clings on to the space-age products.

The design duo behind Peter Pilotto say that their inspiration for the print was an ‘intergalactic traveller‘. So if you want to boldly go where no man has gone before, this is the accessories range for you!
